ACT and SAT scores need to be sent directly to the Eligibility Center
from the parent companies. Cretin-Derham Hall counselors, coaches,
staff, and administrators cannot send an official copy to the
Eligibility Center.
Scores must come from ACT and College Board.
How to get ACT/SAT scores to the
Eligibility Center:1. When you register for the test,
input the Eligibility Center code 9999. You get a certain number of
scores sent out to colleges and other organizations for
free.
2. Call ACT or College Board after
you have taken the test and have them send your score to the Eligibility
Center.

Go online after the test and request that ACT or College Board send the
Eligibility Center your test score.

Core CoursesNCAA Division I requires 16 core courses. This rule applies to any student first entering any Division I college or university.

NCAA Division II requires 14 core courses.

DIVISION I16 Core-Course Rule
16 Core Courses:
4 years of English.
3 years of mathematics (Algebra I or higher).
2 years of natural/physical science (1 year of lab if offered by high school).
1 year of additional English, mathematics or natural/physical science.
2 years of social science.
4 years of additional courses (from any area above, foreign language or nondoctrinal religion/philosophy).
DIVISION II14 Core-Course Rule
14 Core Courses:
3 years of English.
2 years of mathematics (Algebra I or higher).
2 years of natural/physical science (1 year of lab if offered by high school).
2 years of additional English, mathematics or natural/physical science.
