Habitat for Humanity
You can make a difference!
The need for affordable housing is an issue and need which is rarely far from the minds, hearts and hands of Cretin-Derham Hall students and staff. Whether in the classroom, at Masses and Prayer Services, or through direction action, the CDH community is seeking to make a change on behalf of those seeking a place to call home.
Each month, through the efforts of Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, students, staff, parents and alumni assist in the construction of affordable housing. Members of the Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes are eligible to participate in this monthly opportunity.

Up to ten students (Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors) and three adults participate in the HfH building days.
The location of the build varies each month, though it is generally in St. Paul.
Prayer begins and concludes each day, as well as reflection and conversation around the need for and challenge of acquiring affordable housing. The valuable work of Habitat for Humanity in addressing these needs and challenges will be examined.
