Why are your clothes really soft, but not clean smelling? Early adulthood is filled with little teachable moments of experience that often times come as a result of tough lessons which cost time, money, frustration, and embarrassment. There are a million choices and decisions that are quickly approaching. However, we feel that our experiences and activities can help you to successfully navigate this upcoming phase of life. Sure, Mom and Dad tried to teach us basic survival skills growing up, but in many cases, they didn’t have the time, resources, or background to prepare us for everything. Why Didn't They Teach Me That In High School is being offered as an enrichment class by a group of CDH teachers to address personal and life skills that can ease the transition to a post-high school world.
