I am a graduate of Derham Hall, Class of 1980. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish – Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse.
I taught at Archbishop Brady Junior-Senior High School from 1985 - 1991
I have been at Cretin-Derham Hall High School from 1991 - 1998; and 2006 - present
I have been married for 17 years to my husband Frank. We have three wonderful children: Hannah, Frankie, and Beth.
I currently teach Spanish 3 Honors and Spanish 4 Honors.
I am involved in the following CDH sponsored programs:
- CDH Friendship Club
- LaSallian Youth
- Justice Education Trip (Venezuela)
I love my job!
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family; reading; gardening; biking; spending time up north; and texting :)
Hi! My name is Carly Gubash and I am excited to spend 1st trimester here at CDH student teaching both Spanish 3 Honors and Spanish 4 Honors. I graduated from St. Bernard's High School in 2008 and will graduate from St. Catherine's University in the spring of 2012 with a Spanish major and a K-12 licensure.
Last fall I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study abroad in Ecuador.
I look forward to sharing my love and enthusiasm of Spanish with the students at CDH.
