Tom Cody
Math/TLC

Bio:
Tom Cody has committed his professional life to education, serving as a grade school and high school math teacher since 1974. A graduate of Colorado State University, Tom and his wife Judy, a  grade school teacher/librarian, have three (CDH grads) sons:  Brendan Cody (24) is a golf professional at North Oaks CC who recently graduated from the U of M with a Sports Marketing degree; Shane Cody (28) is in his sixth year as a math teacher (!) in the White Bear Lake district; Dillon Cody (30) is traveling with broadway theater companies as a sound technician.

Since 1999, he has been devoting much of his time & energy to the development and implementation of the Top 20 Training TLC course.  When not teaching at CDH, Tom is out doing teacher & parent trainings with the Top 20 TLC material. He can be found on most Saturday mornings at nearby coffee shops with the New York Times crossword puzzle.  

curriculum Info:
I teach three sections of "TLC : Thinking, Learning & Communicating", a one-trimester character education emotional intelligence elective for freshmen and sophomores.
I teach two sections of Advanced Algebra 2/Trig and one section of Pre-Algebra.
