Fred Wysoki
Fine Arts

Fred Wysoki (Mr. Y), comes to C-DH from the business community.  After many years of heading Fred Wysoki Productions and as Executive Director of Capitol City Communications Center, in St. Paul, he created the Video Production program here at C-DH.  His video career started as a church volunteer learning video from professionals from local television stations. He went on to become an instructor at the local cable company and taught Community Education for the St. Paul Public Schools. He is schooled in Studio and Field production and has won numerous awards for his work. The latest award was a National Student Emmy Award for C-DH when one of his student's projects won an Emmy Award. He has participated in the making of over a thousand videos. He is trained in producing, directing, scriptwriting, camera, audio, lighting set design and editing.

Mr. Y  grew up in St. Paul just 4 blocks from the school. He went to school in San Antonio, Texas where most of his family currently resides, and travels to that area often. He currently resides in Mendota Hts., Mn and enjoys strolling the nature paths that weave throughout the city.  In addition to being passionate about videomaking, he loves photography, going to movies, organic gardening, natural health, herbalism and practicing tai-chi in his spare time. He is a big sports fan and worked for the Minnesota Twins and Calvin Griffith when he was just 12 years old. Years later, he produced a cable television show, "View From the Cheap Seats" with host Tom Cody, and won an a Minnesota Cable award for the 1 hour program with special guest, Calvin Griffith.
